Planning Your Visit
A Message from Planning Circle
It is our intention that Festival of the Goddess be a place of spiritual retreat and sanctuary for women and maidens. A place to reflect, recharge, and reconnect with like-minded women and have what’s needed to create the world we want our grandchildren to thrive in.
We would like the festival to be a place of spiritual safety for all women seeking a connection with the Goddess and the Divine Feminine. This includes a culture of respect and honor for women in recovery, be it from alcoholism, addiction or violence.
Of course, the Goddess is in all acts of love and beauty and some of us include the use of herbs and sacred wine in our spiritual practice, but everything has its season and its place. We hope women who need to imbibe will do so with the awareness that to do so is not a solitary act, but can impact the experience of the community as a whole. We ask that adult activities stay by the creek and not in the common areas of the pavilion, the Temples, the tea and coffee area and the firepit.
NO PHOTOS OF OTHERS ARE ALLOWED WITHOUT SPECIFIC PERMISSION FROM EACH INDIVIDUAL.
FESTIVAL OF THE GODDESS DOES NOT POST PICTURES ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

We Follow Hays County Burn Bans
If a Burn Ban is in effect there are NO OPEN FLAMES - this means you can cook on a camp stove ONLY.
Please note: It may be lifted by then, depending on the rain but plan for a ban. Campfires must be contained in a barrel or portable fire pit with mesh cover to prevent sparks. Cooking must be restricted to camp stoves. Water bucket or fire extinguisher must be accessible to all open fires.
Mothers of Maidens
Each minor that you bring must have a waiver form signed by both parents/guardians! Please print this form out and bring it with you to the Festival!
